"Circles of Sisterhood" is a red and white art quilt that measures 30x36 inches. The circles 30 circles represent our individuality while the color scheme emphasizes our connectivity.
The quilt is embellished with yo-yo's, buttons, found objects, cowrie shells and words. It is appliquéd and quilted by machine.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front. This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
NOTE: This quilt was created for a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. If you are not a member or are not purchasing it as a gift for a member, please let me know, and I will remove the Delta Sigma Theta pin that is in one of the circles.
