“Give Yourself a Thoughtful Flower” is the latest addition to my “Give Yourself Flowers” series. It starts with a floral panel by Stephanie Brandenburg. The panel is enhanced by a red pieced border which is embellished with painted buttons and a lavender border that is quilted in big stitch to add texture. The final border is a red African print.
“Give Yourself a Thoughtful Flower” is lovingly hand quilted and embellished with crystals and painted butterfly buttons. I gave this quilt her name because when I am hand quilting I have a lot of time to think.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.
This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
