About the Event
My quilt Stop Disappearing. Show Up and Speak Up! Is part of the bi-annual quilt show “Georgia Celebrates Quilts”. The show is sponsored by the East Cobb Quilt Guild and will feature over 300 quilts. Daily admission is $10.
Stop Disappearing. Show Up and Speak Up! was part of my “Long Time Coming: A Retrospective of O.V. Brantley’s Red and White Quilts” exhibit that premiered in Atlanta, GA and later exhibited at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX. Constructed using the traditional disappearing nine patch block and embellished with “vote” charms, it is a quilt with a message: VOTE!
