As part of the Atlanta Quilt Festival activities, I had the pleasure of introducing Sarah Bond, the featured 2021 Master Quilter. Her trunk show was interesting as she traced her family quilting history back to the Civil War, and inspirational as she shared her amazing quilts.
I also had the pleasure of presenting her two gifts from the Atlanta Quilt Festival — the book Georgia Quilts and a handcrafted doll crreated by Fiber Artist Jan Hollins. I have two quilts in the book so I love giving it to quilters from out of state. Jan happened to be in the audience when the doll was presented, so it made the moment extra special.
Sarah presented to a full house (given Covid restrictions), and everyone left happy Including ME!😁
