“Friends and Foes are Welcome Here” is a traditional pineapple quilt made using the foldy method popularized by Donna Poster. I made it during my professional life as an attorney, and it hung in one of the conference rooms in the Fulton County, GA County Attorney Office from 2003 - 2007. She was admired and loved by all who saw her.
The quilt is of course blue because it was made to look good in an attorney’s office. The border is a feminine but strong border. I always try to add feminine touches to my lawyer quilts. It is in pristine condition and would add welcoming warmth and confidence to any office environment.
“Friends and Foes are Welcome Here” measures 69 X 77 inches. It is pieced and quilted by machine. 
There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt. The fabric on the back is a blue fabric with cream colored stars. I added one of my favorite affirmations to the label : “Always take the high road”.
