India and I love experiencing the local culture of a new destination as much as possible. On our trip to Houston to attend the International Quilt Festival, we managed to squeeze in a trip to the Houston Grand Opera.
We saw the world premier of Intelligence, an opera starring two southern women working to help Northern troops during the Civil War. It was entertaining, but I must admit we did not like the ending.
It was fun getting dressed up and experiencing something new.
