My quilt Potion to Cure Racism is part of the exhibit Say Your Piece -- Black Women: Mothers, Martyrs and Misunderstood at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah Kentucky. Recently the quilters participating in the exhibit gathered to talk about their quilts and what inspired them.
The Artist Talk was recorded and will be made available to the public at a later date. According to Stacey Watson, the curator of the exhibit, many visitors have left positive comments about my quilt in the exhbit survey.
I enjoyed meeting and spending time with the other quilters very much. I am sure our paths will cross again.
