Happy Independence Week! What a great time to share some of my rarely seen red and white quilts that have an independent streak.
My quilts tend to have subtle messages of how to live a joyful and abundant life. After reviewing my red and white collection, the theme of being an independent woman definitely runs through.
Finding Fortitude definitely communicates independence. Independence requires fortitude to get you through the inevitable down times. Dig deep and never give up. This lesson definitely applies to quilt making. Quilts don’t always come together like you envisioned. Sometimes you have to unsew. Sometimes your machine just won’t act right. No matter what happens. Get to the finish line.
