As I finish My Christmas Wish, I already have a new red and white house quilt underway. I love house quilts. ❤️
I named it Winter Wonderland Wanderlust. It is inspired by a pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts. Of course, my quilt will have some of my signature touches. The original pattern has 8 blocks with 2-3 different house blocks making up each block. Today I am sharing Block 1. Look for Block 2 next week.
As you can see from Block 1, this quilt will contain an explosion of red fabrics. I have so much red fabric that I just can’t stop making red and white quilts! All of the windows are made from a recycled silk kimono.
