Wrapping up the Atlanta Jazz Festival with My Quilt “Jazzy Stars”

The Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park ends tonight. I am ending the day with my own little jazz festival on Spotify after spending some quality time in my studio creating while listening to jazz.

Jazz music inspired the name of my quilt Jazzy Stars. Jazz is vibrant, different and stops you in your tracks. So does my quilt Jazzy Stars.

Jazzy Stars is a block of the month quilt offered by a local quilt shop that is no longer in business. Although it is not my original design (I was still learning), I love this quilt, and it taught me how to make a lot of stars using batik fabrics! Since making this quilt, stars have been a recurring image in my quilts.❤️✨
