I am no farmer. I am actually a plant murderer, but for as long as I can remember, I have heard those who know say the spring planting season starts on Good Friday. So today I will begin again and add some new flowers to my backyard garden.
My quilt Give Yourself a Flower Garden helped me to perfect my applique stitch. It was created from a block of the month program. I love block of the month programs for long term projects because you learn new things without getting overwhelmed. You can't start the next block until it arrives in the mail. The fabrics are muted batiks placed on a brown background which I love.
