My beloved sorority Delta Sigma Theta is 109 years old today! She has been responsible for many of the guiding principles of my life like service, leadership and fortitude since I was initiated as a founding member into the Lambda Theta Chapter at the University of Arkansas in 1974. She has also inspired my red and white quilt collection.
A new red and white quilt is never far from my imagination. I will share my collection of red and quilts in a solo exhibit opening November 19, 2022 at the Emma Darnell Museum and Conference Center in Atlanta.
I am looking forward to seeing all my sorors of Delta Sigma Theta and everyone who loves quilts.
