Hello Galveston!

India, Roz and I flew to Galveston, Texas where we will board our cruise ship Allure of the Seas. The purpose of the trip is to experience a quilt cruise sponsored by Stitchin Heaven Quilt Shop. We arrived a day before the cruise so we would have a little time to explore.

We had a fresh seafood dinner at Salt Water Grill and then explored the Strand Street District.

Galveston has a long, rich history of celebrating Juneteenth. We had hoped to take the Juneteenth tour, but it was not available at the time we were there.

Since we could not take the Juneteenth tour, we amused ourselves by touring the Strand Street District.
