Join me August 15th on the Atlanta Quilt Festival’s Road Trip to the High Museum of Art in downtown Atlanta. I am so excited to join 50 other women on a trip to see the High Museum’s Patterns in Abstraction — Black Quilts in the High’s Permanent Collection exhibit for many reasons.
First, the bus will be filled with happy joyous people.
Second, Katherine Jentleson, Curator of Quilts at the High will speak to our group privately about the High’s plans to collect more quilts by African American quilters.
Third, lunch is at the famous Mary Macs historic restaurant.
And last but not least, my quilt A Star Among Stars is part of the exhibit!
Join us! Sign up at atlantaquiltfestival.com. $75 per person.
