Available! Prints of A Star Among Stars

A Star Among Stars is part of the traveling exhibit of my solo exhibit of red and white quilts entitled Long Time Coming: A Retrospective of O.V. Brantley’s Red and White Quilts. The exhibit premiered in Atlanta at the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum and Conference Center November 19, 2022 and was featured at the 2023 International Quilt Festival in Houston November 1 - 5, 2023. The original quilt is currently not for sale.

This print is a digital copy of an original quilt that was the star of my show at the International Quilt Festival. A Star Among Stars is an English paper pieced quilts. The quilt, which tested my discipline to the max, has approximately 3000 pieces and took me almost three years to make! The appliqued angels add a whimsical finish to the quilt.

The unframed, matted archival pigment print (AKA Giclee) is printed on 100% cotton rag museum quality paper. Giclee prints are the state-of-the-art museum quality print medium today. The matted print is 16 X 16 inches which will allow you to easily find a standard frame for it. It is delivered in a clear plastic bag.

I signed the print is on the front. Limited quantities are offered for $600 in my studio store.
