Favorite Half Square Triangle Technique

Are you working on a project that requires a lot of half square triangles? If so, the easiest way to make them is to use half square triangle paper. Simply place two fabrics right size together and pin the triangle paper to the fabric. Sew on the dotted lines aand then cut on the solid lines. Voila!!

Recently, I needed many flying geese blocks for a new red and white quilt I am working on. I made half square triangles and sewed two together. It was really a fast way to make flying geese blocks.

Luckily I had triangles on a roll stored away in my studio, but I know you can find them on Amazon. I had forgotten how wonderful they are until a friend reminded me.😁
