We spent another day of shopping and sightseeing, this time in Puerto Costa Maya. I was on a mission to find the perfect “achievement gift“ for India Because she recently passed her certification exam for Emergency Room Nursing and she will receive her BS degree in Nursing later this month. (She already has a BS in Emergency Medicine).
The perfect gift turned out to be garnet and diamond earrings to match her necklace. The earrings made her look regal.
We were surprised there was so much African American sorority and fraternity merchandise for sale.
We soaked up the culture, admired the flamingos and then headed back to the ship.
