Church Angel #6 has been sold and is now in her forever home. She was purchased by the Big Bethel A.M.E. Church Deltas as a gift for Elsie Cooke-Holmes, their keynote speaker on Unity Day.

As a Soror of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, I was proud and grateful that one of my quilts was chosen for a such a grand occasion. I added a special label on the back to document the occasion.

I hope Soror Elsie-Cooke-Holmes loves her quilt!

Church Angel #6 is part of a 6 quilt series created for the Warp Weft and Wonder exhibit at the First Existentialist Congregation of Atlanta January 16 - March 1, 2026.
Enjoy viewing all six angels in the series. They are listed for a discounted price in my studio store until March 1.
P.S. Please follow me on Substack for more frequent updates about my quilts and the African American quilting community at large at ovspeaksquilts.substack.com. Thanks! 🙏🏽
