O.V. Speaks Quilts

My new red and white quilt series celebrates women who are bodacious, beautiful and brilliant. I call that the total package. The series is inspired by barn quilts because I am a country girl at heart, and I love barn quilt art. For each quilt, I imagine one traditional quilt block in red and white that must be very big, so all of the quilts in the series

Church Angel #6 has been sold and is now in her forever home. She was purchased by the Big Bethel A.M.E. Church Deltas as a gift for Elsie Cooke-Holmes, their keynote speaker on Unity Day. As a Soror of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, I was proud and grateful that one of my quilts was chosen for a such a grand occasion. I added a special label on the back to document the occasion.
