I have used many irons over the years. For the most part, they are all the same, and I am not that picky about irons anyway. However, I do have a soft spot in my heart for this little Black and Decker iron. It truly is a small wonder.
It is probably no longer manufractured. I found mine on EBay after a friend raved about hers.
This little iron gets very hot, which I like. At the same time, it is very lightweight and small. I like the fact that it does not automatically shut off, although I know many would disagree about that.
I love using it for small applique pieces. Most recently, however, I have been using it to press small triangles in an illusion quilt I am working on.
If you can find this iron, snap it up.
