I love everything about the Christmas season so years ago I started a Christmas quilt collection. Each year I try to add a new quilt.
My 2023 Christmas quilt is named Under the Christmas Tree and measures 48 X 53 inches. Inspired by a pattern by Creative Bee Studios, Under the Christmas Tree is a brightly lit and heavily decorated Christmas tree on a pieced background with an African border.
There are gifts that a quilter would love under the tree. the gifts include thread, scissors, pins, fabric and yo-yos.
The machine quilting by Maxine Moore carries out the theme of the quilt with hollies and berries.
There is a hanging sleeve on the back and a label that documents the quilt. I signed it on the front.
